Kelly Jo’s passion is helping people achieve a balanced and positive relationship with food one bite at a time.

Kelly Jo started her nutrition consulting business in 2010 providing individual counseling as well as corporate nutrition wellness programs throughout northern Minnesota. She provides nutrition and dietary consultation to area nursing homes and group homes and is an online adjunct instructor and preceptor to Certified Dietary Manager students through the University of North Dakota. She became a Certified LEAP Therapist in 2013, specializing in identifying food sensitivities and developing a personalized diet to reduce overall inflammation and associated symptoms, which can range from migraines to irritable bowel syndrome. She currently collaborates with True North Health Care and provides nutrition services for their Center of Brain Health.

Kelly Jo offers a holistic, non-diet approach to nutrition and weight management and believes in an integrative and functional perspective. There are no "good" or "bad" foods, rather a well balanced diet includes variety, moderation and she believes we should have a positive relationship with food. Eating should be a fun and an enjoyable experience!

Kelly Jo's passion is to empower people to make healthy lifestyle changes that allows them to live and feel their best, healthiest life by meeting their own personal nutrition and wellness goals one step and one bite at a time.
